Drop Off and Pick Up

~ Only the parent/guardian or other adult listed on contract will be allowed pick up child(ren).

~ Children will be signed in and out each day by the parent/guardian.

~ The parent/guardian must contact me one half hour before closing if he/she will be late picking up child(ren).

~ Please keep us informed, the best way is text message. We will always respond when we have read the message. (306)229-6878

~ If your child is not picked up and I can’t contact you, your emergency contact people will be contacted. If no one can be contacted by 1 hour past closing the Crisis Nursery will be contacted.

Termination of Child Care Services

~ There will be a one-month probationary period; a child’s care may be terminated, by the caregiver or by the parent/guardian, before one complete month of care, with  2 days notice.

~ After one complete month of care, a 1-month notice of terminating care must be given before the last day of the month. This must be given in writing by the caregiver or parent/guardian.

~ However termination without notice may occur if fees are not paid or if there is uncontrollable behaviour such as physical or verbal violence from child or parent.

~ The parent/guardian must give at least 2-week notice of leaving for vacation.

~ The parent/guardian must call by 5:00 if he/she will be late picking up their children.

~ A minimum of 2 month written  notice will be given for any changes to Rates.

~ Any regulation changes will be immediate.

Expectations

~ Use inside voices inside

~ No hitting, fighting, hands on or biting

~ Care and respect toys and books

~ Always wash hands before meals and after the bathroom or being outside

~ Use manners Please, Thank You, Excuse me etc.

~ Sit at the table to eat and drink. Cups stay in the kitchen or dining room

Others

~ Untrained toddlers must be supplied with diapers, wipes, etc.

~ Please send swimsuits in the summer and proper winter clothing in the winter.

~ 1 set of clothing must be left and replaced if used.

~ Toys from home must be shared. If the child will not share the toy it will be kept in their bucket for the day. We will not search at the end of the day for the toy. If the toy becomes lost or broken it will not be replaced.

~ Comfort toys or blankets for nap time are considered a personal item and they don’t need to be shared they will be kept in buckets unless they are need.

~ We love Birthdays and Holidays such as Christmas & Valentine’s Day. We will do celebrations on these days with extra treats and games.

~ Any food, drink or candy must be given to employees if brought to daycare in case of other children’s allergies. PLEASE NO NUTS!

~ We keep all records for 6 years.
